Tearing down the old studio (sob, sob)

When the day came and we went off air, the studio had to be gutted. All the records, studio equipment and even the toilet brush had to be moved to the new studios.

It was a sad and very messy time.

Brian shows off his counting techniques.

The 'booth' before removal.

Dr Jim gets ready for the next operation.

The booth ready for demolition.

Malcolm stands guard at the back of his Volvo to make sure nobody steals the plasterboard off cuts

The main desk just before it leaves for its new home.

Loads more room in here.

Jim and Craig perform roof-eck-tee-mee while Jim has to whole stilts thing completely wrong.

The heart of the station - still beating.

Jim and Craig still playing with roofs. Jim still struggling to get the hang of those stilts.

Tommy stops a box from falling over. He managed to hold the box back for almost 2 hours.

Suddenly Jim and Craig discover a giant beehive up in the roof. Here they are trying to get to the honey.

Malcolm suddenly remembers he forgot to put in his teeth.

Chris gives a thumbs up even though the sea is getting rough and the old studio lists to the left with all the weight of the records down one side of the building.

Tommy now has a go at the stilts - at least he has them the right way up.

Chris goes all camp with his coffee and tools.

The gang assess how they are going to get a 4' wide thing through a 3' wide doorway.

The notice board before.

Ancient graffiti is discovered behind the record shelves.

Craig drinks coffee forgetting he already had a cup on his head.

Evelyne leaves very subtle clue for Chris as to where the key might be.

An empty booth.

All the records just before they are moved.

An empty studio - never looked cleaner.

The old studio. Looks just like a couple of porta-cabins.

A couple of bits of wood fall off the wall.

Tracey tries out her technical skills wiring up a computer.

Someone forgets to take out the rubbish - or is that another vital piece of the studio technical equipment?

Tracey checks that all the records are in the right place before they are moved.

Jim gets ready for more demolition work and like a true professional, he has all the right equipment.

Brian! Stop play with it! Concentrate on what you are supposed to be doing.
