Building a new Radio Station - Part 2

Porta-cabins a lightweight, flimsy metal boxes. This is not good for sound reduction - try it sometime - stick your head in a metal bucket and bang the side - you'll see!

Chris drives a van, very pleased with his haul of donated wood.

Andy on the phone while Tracey and Chris pretend to work.

Craig pulls a 40' plank of wood out of Malcolms' 35' Volvo.

A bashed corner of the office - I didnea dae it! A big boy did it an' ran away!

Andy drills holes in the roof using just his head.

Paul (6' tall) holds roof tile up. Malcolm (NOT 6' tall) stretches up to drill the tile to the roof.

Paul has a quick dance.

During build work communications can break down. Luckily the white-board was there to help re-establish good feelings.

Andy has trouble getting through the door.

Suddenly the studio tilts at a horrible angle but Paul still keeps a brave face on.

Chris takes pictures and proves size really does not matter.

A picture of the team all smiling after a hard days work.

Craig also having trouble getting through the door.

The first wall tile. Also showing why you must NOT lean on any of the walls - there's nothing behind them.

The gand have a re-think as they realise that they have walled up the studio door.
